Detox to Retox
Everyone who knows me knows I love health and wellness, and I always joke, “detox to re-tox.” While our organs are diligently doing the detox work for us, we often need that extra support - especially with the toxin exposure we face on a day-to-day basis and even on days when we have a little too much fun. The best ways to detox your body include getting adequate sleep, exercising, properly hydrating, and following a healthy diet. My favorite detox method is using an infrared sauna - as long as you can safely tolerate high heat levels. After celebrating my birthday and having more fun than I typically do on a weekend, I was too excited to sit and meditate in the infrared sauna.
